Billy sees the pictures of Dom and Evangeline. He’s watched Dom evolve through photographs. He longs for his friend, but he’s afraid his Dom has disappeared.

 

When the pictures start changing, Billy can’t help but be happy. The pictures show Dom alone, with a false grin.

 

They also show Dom as a shadow. Nothing like his old self, and not even like his newer, flashy self. But even so, Billy is happy.

 

Dom’s fake, superficial friendships have started to corrode. It’s only a matter of time before Dom remembers his old friends. His real friends.

 

And Billy will be waiting.
