silentdescant | a quick sketch

I have this little slideshow on my google sidebar of all my Dom pics, and one popped up today of him signing an autograph at the airport, and I randomly started drawing his hands, holding my pencil the way he holds his pen (which is pretty uncomfortable, by the way), and the I just kept sketching and retracing and stuff, and this is what resulted.

The proportions are a bit off, because I was originally just going to do his hands, but whatever, it was just a quick little thing. Probably took only a few minutes to do. Also, the lines are really dark in this picture because on paper they're really light and I had to mess with the contrast and stuff to get it to show up, so that partially contributes to the weirdness.

Now that I'm looking at it on the computer, his nose looks really wrong. It looked good at one point, but I had to erase it because it was in the wrong place. Same with his left hand. lol
