okay, I doubt anyone is surprised, but I want someone to write me fic where Frank is Gerard's puppy. (or Gerard's puppy turned human? either way, he was a puppy first.) YOU KNOW HE'S GOT THE PUPPY-LIKE ADORATION ALREADY. and all he wants is to sit on Gerard and get Gerard to pet his ears and scratch under his chin. and he follows Gerard around the house, and sits at his feet while he's drawing. and somehow steals the whole bed at night, and makes pitiful faces at his dog dish until Gerard gives him people food. yeah, somebody needs to write that. what kind of dog would Frank be?

blah blah blah, filmed some stuff today. feet hurt a lot. super tired. had that VMan photo open in a tab, so I decided to draw it.
this is just Gerard, but as you can see, Mikey's sketched in there (kinda) so I'll probably come back to it eventually. took me maybe a couple of hours. done in pencil. can't find my sharpener or my eraser, and for some reason I only used a dark and a light pencil instead of my whole set (idek, I'm really tired), so that's why it's kinda crappy. need to fix some things, like his weirdo cheekbone. and lips. and nose. and uh, blue sketchy Mikey (sry, Mikey).
even though it's uh, not the best, I feel really good about it. haven't drawn anything in AGES so... yeah. this was good. put on my streaming radio station from home and just kinda zoned out. needed that right now. \o/
shit, I just realized I kinda fucked myself over in terms of smudging.... I'm right-handed. oops.

okay, so i don't have anything useful to say except holy fuck how have i seriously NOT READ THIS BEFORE? tie your monster down by stereomer, and it's basically everything i ever want out of a fic, and SOMEHOW I'VE SKIPPED OVER IT UNTIL NOW, IDEK. and even though i'm pretty much positive i'm the only one on my bandom flist late to this party, i still have to rec it here.
THEY ARE SPIES, OKAY. DYSFUNCTIONAL, ADORABLE, BADASS SPIES. oh my god i can't even. i just love it way too much. there are parts that are laugh-out-loud funny, and parts that are kind of heartbreaking and sad with the pining and everything, and then, uh... there's a torture sequence that i actually had to stop reading. there are very few things that squick me enough to STOP READING and put it down and back away for a moment, but wow, this was a really good torture scene. i went back to it (obviously), but with my hands clenched into fists and covering my mouth, because HOLY CRAP. (yeah, i'm somewhat squicked by a torture scene, i get the irony here).
but omg such a fun fic, such an awesome, fantastic fic. I LOVE IT A LOT. i feel like my birthday has come early. don't you know i love action AUs? with SPIES? and GUNS? and MYSTERIES? and i think frank even has a bit of a pain kink. it's like all of my favorite elements stuffed into one fic by an awesome author. i just can't even deal, i'm so excited about this. i'm gonna reread it probably uh, tomorrow. i feel so late to this party! why have i never read this before? what is wrong with me?! don't make fun of me. i get excited about these things. i can't believe i haven't read it until now.
