The races were so much fun. Kind of hot out, but that's okay. I stayed in the shade. The betting didn't do much for us because only a couple of the bets won and we were only doing $2 anyway, but still, without betting on a horse, you really don't care who wins so it gives you someone to root for. So, very fun. Except now I feel a bit sick because I ate two slices of pizza and then had a *small* ice cream that made me afraid to see even the medium.

Also, I've noticed that a few songs fit in with my Runaway fic. I haven't uploaded the songs or anything, but here's the verses that stand out to me. PS: this could be considered spoilers for future chapters.
