the version of photoshop i installed on my laptop is OMG CRAPPY, but i made a couple of icons anyway. they have like, NO EFFECTS AT ALL, because that's how shitty this photoshop is, and also how bad i am at doing things with my trackpad, but. here. only two.

 i uploaded this one, and if i don't get around to making it prettier, i will probably use it as one to go with mafia-related things. &fraaaaank;

 i wanted to do cool effects with this BUT I CAN'T YET. :( i can't even crop things properly because photoshop won't load the pictures all the way, so both of these were like, mostly guesswork. which is why gee is cropped weirdly in the one above. :\

anyways. i'm watching my big fat greek wedding and reading bbb fics. oh, and i didn't get that job.

I desperately needed some, so I MADE SOME! I'm still kinda looking around, but the ones I've uploaded will do for now.

There's actually one more, but for some reason, photobucket thinks it's an invalid file type, and it's NOT, it's exactly the same as all the others, so wtf. So here's just the 33. Next up are a ton of Frank and his guitar, and of Frank and Gerard kissing (ohyes). These are in rows of 2, 3, and 4; there are supposed to be blank spaces there, don't worry. I'm going to a "Motion Picture Studio Management and Strategy Seminar" tomorrow and Saturday, from 9am-6pm, so I hope to god it lives up to my expectations. It's cutting down on my four-day weekend! I was gonna do homework! Ah well, if it's boring, I'll just write the whole time. lol

eta: um, what the fuck? the bus doesn't even go to Arnold on weekends?!? THAT'S JUST SHIT. UGH. I almost hope the seminar is crap so I won't want to go back on Saturday.

ok. so. I watched it. then I rewinded and watched all the Charlie bits. and Charlie's bits. LOL and then I came online and immediately started freaking out with bloodrayveness. and because I am lazy and it is 2:30am 3:30am (now) and I've already said most of what I'm going to say about Lost to her, I decided just to copy/paste the chat transcript. and I didn't fix our spelling errors, sorry. LOL and it is long. lol

ALSO. we have decided that Snow Patrol's song Run is CHARLIE'S DEATH ANTHEM, OH MY GOD. I almost can't believe that after all of this stuff tonight, hearing that song is what made me break down.

and now, because I honestly COULDN'T DECIDE on what icon to upload/use for this post, here's a bunch of icons I was considering, each perfect in its own way. I finally decided on this one because omg, lookit Charlie all happy and glowy!

and yeah. so. oh my god, Charlie. *sniffle* omg this music. *cries*

First of all, Cute Guy is going to be Dead Guy very soon, because he didn't do what I SPECIFICALLY told him to do, which was to give my right email address to the producer. So she's been emailing me, but to the wrong address, and I haven't gotten any of it. So I talked to her today and gave her my private email address, which I didn't want to do, and she gave me the script with her and the director's notes on it to rewrite by tomorrow or Wednesday. It's not gonna be hard, per se, but omg I'm annoyed at Cute Dead Guy.

Another email problem: I emailed my essay to my prof (who was wearing a cute corduroy jacket today I don't have a crush on him, I swear!) last week, and never got a reply, which I didn't think was too weird, but still, I kind of expected a "thanks, I got your email" kind of thing. Anyway, he was handing back everyone's essays today, and when he got to the end of the stack, mine wasn't there! He asked me if I sent him one, and I said yes, and then he gave me a different email address to send it to. So now I've resent the essay from both the school email and my personal email, to both his school email and his personal email. OMG EMAIL.

Had a big talk with my mom about my friend and why she's grounded and what kinds of problems her family's having and omg it's just so COMPLICATED. (Tiffany: you can't tell anyone ANYTHING about this, because I'm not supposed to know, and nobody's supposed to talk about anything at all, which is why everything's a problem in the first place.) Mainly the problem is with the group of friends that this girl hangs out with. I think they're all guys, and they're all older than her, and they're all like, high school drop-outs or failing out of high-school, and their idea of fun isn't what I would call fun at all. Anyway, she hangs out with them all the time, and basically they're getting her into trouble, and there's a whole peer pressure issue, and I wish she would just hang out with me, but that's inconvenient because I live 45 min away while all these guys are like, 2 min away. >.< *sigh*

And last but not least, I'm going to get rid of my Rock & Roll icon, but I dunno what to replace it with. Also, I was an idiot and only saved these as .jpeg and not .psd, so I'm going to have to try to remake it if I want to change anything. *facepalm*


So, opinions on any of these? suggestions? different pictures I should use? anything, please.

ps: I'm still workin' on fixing my index. >.< HA! Index is fixed and I am PROUD. AND, I have the raw html saved so I can just add to it there and copy/paste it in. \o/

from a scan of something Dom wrote. and yes, he actually wrote "please don't hate me." as if anyone could ever hate him... lol

I glanced at a couple icon tutorials, and as a result, made a few icons, though I didn't really follow the tutorial. I used the basic ideas, but didn't follow the instructions. Also, look at all the beautiful icons here. When I have more time, I'm definitely checking out those tutorials, because I've always wondered how to do some of that stuff. *g*

Lego tournament was fun, but I'll write more about that later. My computer should be online again (omgyay), because my project is just about finished. The DVD covers look like absolute crap, but they've looked worse, so I'm not going to bother with it.
