Christmas Eve
Dec. 24th, 2006 06:19 pmMerry Christmas (or other holidays you might be celebrating around this time of year...)!!!
The stockings are hung by the chimney with a bits of ribbon and a metal bar to hold them in place. It doesn't look very pretty, but at least they're hung, right? And next to the tree there's a "Happy Birthday" banner that's been up since my birthday in August. But it's colorful, and therefore festive. Dinner will be ready shortly, and this'll probably gross some people out, but it's octopus and pasta for Christmas dinner. :D
I've christened a black leathery-type-of-substance covered journal that I'm going to use for fanfic, or, more specifically, PWP stories. I don't think I'm going to post what I just wrote, though, because it's absolute crap. >.<
The person finally came to get her DVDs, and she didn't know she was supposed to pay for them now, so there was a bit of an awkward situation there. I hate asking people for money. But at least I'm paid now.
I'm just wasting time until dinner's ready. Chatted with a friend who I hadn't talked to in... probably over a year, so that was nice. Didn't get to talk a whole lot, though, but I got to wish her a Merry Christmas.
