in other news, Vista now works and I've been able to print off syllabuses (syllabi? LOL) for both my online classes. wtf TONS of reading already! >.<

in even further removed news, for those of you interested, I actually did write some RunAway the other day, and I finished the next chapter, but I'm not going to be posting again until either WAY more is finished, or if the entire fic is finished, because I don't want more delays like this to happen, and I'm assuming you guys don't want that either. :\

at school

in the computer lab, specifically. typing up chapter summaries for AP biology. bleeeech.

class starts in............................. 45 mins. and apparently my brain won't do math right now, because it took me forever to calculate that. >.<

good news, though: I'm getting a flatscreen monitor, and I'm stealing some of my sister's old computer's memory, because apparently my computer is DEFECTIVE. no WONDER it's been acting like a piece of crap all this time. >.< having the new monitor should clear up a TON of desk space, meaning I'll actually have room to work for once. lol. I'm also thinking of transferring many of my pictures onto DVDs so they won't take up HD space. I may not be understanding this quite right, because I wasn't really listening when it was explained to me, but, this is what I surmised: my computer's memory card is defective, so it's been running off my HD, which means that not only is it SUPER SLOW, but because my HD storage space is nearly used up, that's also contributing to its problems. hopefully the new monitor and new memory stuffs will let this computer limp along until I go off to college and get a new computer. hopefully.

eta: there's a guy sitting somewhere near me and he has a voice that sounds like Dustin Hoffman's, except he's speaking in Chinese or Japanese or something. and it's kinda freakin' me out. O.o
