omg, so many things to read on my flist. I'll get to those in a minute.

Firstly, the Beach Adventures of my crazy family. Bainbridge Island Ferry, very fun. I saw quite a lot of extremely hot guys that I have to tell my friend about asap, plus one guy who looked so much like Sean Astin that I almost asked him if he was Sean Astin. But he wasn't. It was kind of scary, though. Anyway, next was the beach. Sandwiches with the sand included. Luckily, I ate mine before the wind picked up. Then, kite flying. That was fun. That went on for quite a while (my ipod's battery is now very low), until my dad broke my kite spool. I was very sad about that (I get attached to things that should have no sentimental value.). So, back to the story: then came the fort-building. My cousins and sister did the actual building this year with me as a kind of 'supervisor', saying "Take this log here and put it right there. No, not this log, that big one over there." There was one guy a little ways away that kept looking at me during the fort-building. Was he checking me out? I was checking him out, but I don't know if he was really looking at me or not..... So, then came the iced creamery, Mora's, and it was good. Melts very fast, though. And a lot of exotic flavors, not much normal stuff like cookies 'n' cream and stuff like that. Then, the ride home. My uncle is crazy. Not that I didn't already know this, but there were just more examples of his craziness....

So, now I have a sunburned face, sand in my hair, and I'm very tired.

But tomorrow, we go to horse races!!!! It's a lot more fun than it sounds, actually. But what should I wear? My cousin is going to wear a skirt and a fancy hat, so I wouldn't be alone if I dressed up a bit, but still, what should I wear??

Also: on short notice, my dad's cousin is coming to stay with us for a night. The last time I saw her, I was probably under 10 years old and it was at her daughter's graduation party. They had a pool, with a slide! To a ten year old, this is awesome. Plus, their house was in New York, which is just cool, full stop.

Now, about this fic that won't end. I've thought of a series title (I think). Run Away. Or Runaway. Sound good? I'll try Runaway out, but I might change it. I also need to instigate a schedule for posting. Maybe every Friday? Wednesday and Friday? I don't exactly know my school schedule yet, so I'll probably just wait and see what works....

I'll post the next chapter tomorrow, before I go to Emerald Downs.
