1. When did you first become a LOTR fan?
I read The Hobbit a few times and saw it at a children's theatre. I fell in love with the movies, but I didn't become a truly obsessed fan until a few years ago, quite a bit after ROTK came out. *is so late to the party*

2. Have you read the books?
I'm working on it.
3. Seen the movies?
I've watched them to death. But I bring them back to life and watch them again all the time.
4. What is it that you love about LOTR?
The friendships. These people would (and do) die for each other.
5. How many times did you see each of the movies?
Uh.... Too many times to count. I think I saw ROTK at the theatres a couple of times. The others I may have only seen once until they came out on DVD.
6. Times you've read the books?
I'm in chapter 7 of FOTR for the first time. But I've read The Hobbit a couple of times.
7. Just how obsessed are you with LOTR?
I'm more obsessed with the movies than the books right now, but yeah, pretty obsessed.
8. Can you speak elvish?
I had a bunch of "Learn Elvish" sites bookmarked, but it was on my old computer and I don't have the links anymore. :,(
9. Did you dress up for any of the movie premieres?
I dressed up for the Harry Potter premiere! But at the time, I wasn't that obsessed with LOTR, so no.
10. Most memorable moment as a fan?
Probly LotR Symphony. :D Oh, I wish I'd gotten to see it!!! Um, I think the most memorable moment for me personally was getting the EE Box set for Christmas.

ROTK, I think. Or TTT. FOTR was my least favorite, but I'm not saying I didn't like it.
13. Favorite overall character?
Pippin, Boromir, Faramir, Aragorn. In close to that order.
14. Character you find most attractive?
Aragorn and Pippin. I love Dom the most, but Merry just doesn't do it for me. I think it's the wig. Sorry, Dom.
15. Favorite couple?
Merry and Pippin? LOL. j/k. Aragorn and Arwen.
16. Favorite hobbit?
Pippin.
17. Favorite elf?
Galadriel or Haldir, just because I liked his death scene.
18. Favorite man?
Boromir and Faramir. Then Aragorn and Eomer.
19. Favorite dwarf?
Gimli, I guess.
20. Favorite wizard?
Gandalf.
21. Favorite orc?
wtf? The one that kills Boromir, because I like his battle with Aragorn. *g*
22. Favorite villian?
Wormtongue, I think. He's a creepy git, but then, that's the idea, right?

Shadowfax.
24. Favorite scene from the books?
---- (So far, it's just anything involving Merry and Pippin together.)

Pippin's Song, Helms Deep, Pellenor Fields.

Ents and Elves

Shelob. Fuck, yes!
28. Cutest creature?
Hobbits, I suppose. Humans aren't cute, Elves are ethereal, Orcs/Uruk Hai are just ugly... So yeah, Hobbits.
29. Favorite quote?
LOL In the book, I love this bit. Frodo, Sam, & Pippin had just met the Elves in the woods in the Shire, and Frodo had talked to the Elves about the Nine Riders. The next morning:
Pippin: "Did you ask about the sniffing?"
Frodo: "We didn't discuss it."
Pippin: "You should have. I am sure it is very important."
LMAO!! That one and this, when they first get across the Brandywine:
"A bath!" cried Pippin. "O blessed Meriadoc!"
"Which order shall we go in?" said Frodo. "Eldest first, or quickest first? You'll be last either way, Master Peregrin."
In the movies:
Pip: "You need people of intellegence for this sort of mission. Quest. ...Thing."
Merry: "Well, that rules you out, Pip."
this:
Pip: "The closer we are to danger, the farther we are from harm."
and this: (after talking with the Ents. I just love the way Dom says the line.)
Merry: "There won't be a Shire, Pip."
30. Where would you want to live in Middle Earth?
The Shire, Lothlorien, or Minas Tirith. ("I love Minas Tirith." LOL!)
31. What kind of creature would you be?
Probably human. Though I'd love to be an Elf or a Hobbit too.
32. What's your weapon of choice?
Um... running? LOL That'd be me! Maybe a bow & arrow, 'cause you're far away from the enemy.
33. Are you good/evil/somewhere in between?
Good. I'd be like Merry; smart, cheeky, and not really suited for battle.
34. Do you own any LotR stuff?
The box set of DVDs, the FOTR DVD, the chess set, and I think the RISK game. Plus, ya know, all the interviews, pictures, clips, and other random crap I've downloaded. And, of course, a boxed set of the paperback versions of the books, and a new 3-in-1 book with a picture of the Ring (from the movie) on the cover. And the course study books. And a book of Tolkein's letters.
