YAY for no test in Biology until next week!! We had to sing a rap, though, for the skeletal system. It was torture, and it was awful, considering we only had about 15 minutes to write the lyrics. They are as follows:
Further proof that us white kids can't rap for shite. In our defense, we did have some weird words to deal with. *g*
And that's it.
Axial Skeleton, for support, without it, your organs would abort.
Appendicular Skeleton holds your legs and arms, it attaches to your Axial and it can do some harm.
The Skull protects the brain and keeps it out of the rain, so your brain won't drain.
You can be cannibles with mandibles.
Clavicle - no rap
Scapula rotates so you can relocate.
The Sternum is a chest plate so you can have a heart rate.
When you eat Ribs, you gotta wear bibs.
Vertebral Column; stand up straight so you don't go 'Gollum'.
Humerus - no rap
Ulna and Radius, they work together so you can move better.
Phalanges - no rap
Coxa, Sacrum, and Coccyx, three bones we're not gonna talk about.
The femur evolved from a lemur.
Patella, a recap before we move onto the kneecap.
Fibula, we won't tell a lie, it's the bone that attaches to the thigh.
And the Tibia ain't no Fibula.

Piano lesson - am amazed I got through it as well as I did, considering I haven't practied AT ALL. Thank heavens for being able to sight-read.
LotR Lit - test today. I don't know my exact grade, but I'm pretty sure it was an A. And we had to write an essay during the last 20 minutes or so, and apparantly mine got BONUS POINTS!! GO ME!!! And my communications essay was also good, although it hasn't be graded yet.
Biology - NO TEST! And the previously mentioned awful rap song. And then we went hiking through the woods (okay, the trees on the edge of their driveway, we didn't actually go into their woods), and found sticks to make a skeleton out of. Then we cut some of them and drilled holes in them so we can put it all together sometime in the next few weeks. Oh, and Cody pulled a bug out of my hair, which I thought was very sweet and cute. And also really really good, because I would have FREAKED OUT if I knew it was there. LOL!
Art - We did the watercolor flowers today, and next week we're going to do a watercolor picture of our choice. I'm actually beginning to like watercolor! Sort of. I still like drawing more. *g*
