with words I thought I'd never speak

I have this little slideshow on my google sidebar of all my Dom pics, and one popped up today of him signing an autograph at the airport, and I randomly started drawing his hands, holding my pencil the way he holds his pen (which is pretty uncomfortable, by the way), and the I just kept sketching and retracing and stuff, and this is what resulted.

The proportions are a bit off, because I was originally just going to do his hands, but whatever, it was just a quick little thing. Probably took only a few minutes to do. Also, the lines are really dark in this picture because on paper they're really light and I had to mess with the contrast and stuff to get it to show up, so that partially contributes to the weirdness.

scanner works now. here's a pretty-much-finished Dom, a just-started Dom, and a Sasha. :D

I love photoshop. I overlayed my drawing (the newest version) with the real picture. HA, I rock. Because it's so bloody close. And the stuff that's not close should be easy to change. Check it out.


I love photoshop. It also has a grid option, but as I've got the basic placement of everything pretty good already, I decided I didn't need it.

also, off topic - I didn't realize until a few weeks ago that Robert Sean Leonard, who plays Wilson on House, was in Dead Poets Society. And he was my favorite character in that movie! But look. That man hasn't aged at all. *g*
