silentdescantThe question I had earlier about the song used in the Lost promos? The answer is Lux Aeterna, from Requiem for a Dream. Now, the interesting bit is that this song was remixed exclusively for a LotR TTT trailer, but the version was never used in either LotR or RfaD. The really awesome bit is this music video, though, which is just amazing. Really really amazing. There were some other LotR music videos to this song, but of the ones I watched, this was definitely the best.
And how cool is it that the song was used for both LotR and Lost? Extremely cool.
eta: I also have the piano sheets for the normal version of the song. I haven't tried to play it yet, but there are videos on youtube of these sheets being played and it sounds pretty good. [page 1] [page 2]
