OK, it's time to get serious.
Fall fashion this year is about a proper suit, long leather gloves, an oxford shoe or a power pump and a structured handbag. It completes the 180-degree revolution away from the loose and carefree bohemian styles that were all the rage mere seasons ago.
YES PLEASE THANK YOU GOD.
the article goes on to stress blazers (omgyes!), gloves, specifically opera gloves (I WANT), and grey as a main colour because it can go with anything (I need something grey...).
you guys have no idea how long I've waited for this stuff to be "in" again. I have so many fitted blazers (most of which actually fit me), a new pair of black trousers that are SO comfortable, and even a couple pairs of nice heels. hahahaha yay I can finally be fashionable without even trying. *\o/*
Unlike other recent trends, such as the empire waists that don't flatter everyone, [...] a neat appearance can complement anyone — anywhere.
