quick run-down of past events with the family...
after dinner of octupus and pasta (totally not as weird as it sounds, srsly), we all went to a midnight mass at 10pm, which didn't make a whole lot of sense to me, but whatever. lol i did get a fit of giggles sometime near the end, though, which sucks because i was in, like, the 3rd pew from the front. >.< luckily, it was mostly silent giggles, lol. and then i got a bit... i dunno, 'deer-in-the-headlights' for the communion, because i've only done that a few times in my life. ah well. it was alright, though. the choir was okay.
we also, for the first time, brought all our presents to my uncle's house, which was kinda weird. usually we open presents at home, and then go over for christmas lunch/dinner. but this year we went over for breakfast, presents, lunch, antipasti, dinner, and movies. and we only just got home. >.<
my aunt and uncle annoy me so so SO much. i snuck into the bathroom with my sister so we could rant a bit. and then i snuck into my cousin's room to call tony and have a bit of quiet time. their house is so loud, between my uncle's rants, my aunt screaming at her kids, and my cousins screaming and playing loud games, and then my grandparents talking loudly to be heard over all that.... *headdesk* tony went to chicago for christmas! lol, he'd just gotten to the hotel when we finally got a chance to talk for a while.
the big presents: a digital camera of my own!! and the lord of the rings full score!! and there were books and teaching company dvds and order of the phoenix, too. yayyyyy. i am sooooo happy about the camera and the cds, though. i really wanted both, but didn't think i was going to actually get either. \o/ i took a ton of pictures, which i'm sure will be uploaded soon. :P
*sigh* now i'm so tired. being around everyone just wears me out! i want to either finish watching harry potter (which we started at their house), or start listening to lord of the rings. and get a drink. and change into pjs. and go to sleeeeeep. merry christmas to you all, i hope you had happy christmas days!
