silentdescant9. Juliet's father has disconnected her phone and locked her in a 4th floor bedroom to keep her away from Romeo. As she looks down from the balcony, she sees Romeo standing directly below her with a cell phone in each hand. Hoping to speak with her, Romeo throws one phone straight upward. In his eagerness, he throws too hard and the phone passes her outstretched hand (not once but twice) and strikes Romeo on the head 5.0s after it leaves his hand.
11. Unjustly blaming Juliet for his physics miscalculation in Problem 9, Romeo makes a plan that he things will not depend on her ability to catch flying objects. Noting that the balcony rail is almost 12m above his outstretched hand, he stomps 12m away from his previous position and prepares to throw the phone at an angle so that it will land on the balcony whether Juliet catches it or not. Determine the magnitude and direction of the initial velocity that will result in the phone reaching the peak of its motion just above the rail.

School was canceled due to snow today, by the way. FUCK YES. SNOW FTW. And the weather report says more snow tonight, so I'm hoping it'll be enough to close school again. *CROSSES FINGERS*
Things that happened over the weekend: I had a bra fitting. SCARY, but a good thing overall. And now I have 3 very nice new bras that actually FIT and make me look great, so, that's good. And after that my mom and I went shopping in Nordstrom, and we basically never left the dressing room. OMG, those helper people are so nice and awesome. I ended up getting 2 sweater things and a summery shirt. I never knew I could wear stylish stuff and look nice. It was almost overwhelming to see that I did look nice. Really, amazingly nice. I really was kind of shocked. I'll have to post pics sometime. Oh, and then on Sunday, I went to see a movie with my dad, The Air I Breathe, which I will post about sometime later.
