short long 10 11-things update

because i can't remember (and don't have time to write) everything that happened today.

1) lotr-nut guy from Eng was talking to his friend (another guy from Eng), and I overheard them say that their mutual friend was arrested the other night for stealing a car. and the other friend (not the cool, lotr-nut guy), said that he and a few of his mates were going to beat up the snitch who sold out the mutual friend to the police. so there I was, sitting RIGHT NEXT TO THEM, thinking "what. the. fuck?"

2) because I was so busy contemplating the carjacking conversation, I missed most of what was going on behind me. but I did overhear a girl (also from my Eng class) say "...and there was so much blood..." and then I thought again, "WHAT. THE. FUCK?"

and that's about it for the "wtf"s

3) "Hopeful Holly" (I'm saying that loaded with sarcasm, by the way), says "I found it interesting that..." and "I just found that interesting." in about every single sentence when she talks about Invisible Man. bloody annoying, that. I kept thinking, "shut up. it was NOT that interesting."

4) English papers due= everything seemed so easy when I was at home, but once in class, it seems impossible. by Wednesday, I must transform my two Invisible Man response papers into a 5-page essay, plus have semi-complete drafts of the other papers to talk about in West's office. by the NEXT Wednesday, absolutely everything must be finished (including a personal evaluation where I beg for an A), and turned in portfolio style. the good part: I only have to endure two more weeks of this class. *dances*

5) Astronomy was mostly review today, which was good, because I still haven't read the chapters. >.< I know, I'm bad. but anyway, the prof used a presentation that he didn't make up, and I found it so much harder to understand than his own stuff. We've a test on Monday, then Wednesday off, which will be good, since that's the day my portfolio is due in English.

6) still haven't read any Biology, which has a test on Friday. I also haven't done any of my LotR assignments. >.< there's just sooooo much!

7) I was sad, because I realized that I didn't have Lost to look forward to on Wednesday. :(

8) haven't written any more of RunAway or Escaping Blame. sorry. will post RunAway tomorrow, but then... I'll see if I can manage something by Thursday.

9) even though my icon is very depressed, I have this to say: Raquel = ♥!!!!!!! and congrats on WINNING AT LIFE!!!!!!!!

10) I just had to think of one more thing to make it an even number. umm... oh, my friend told me she was talking to someone on the phone about French Spider Monkeys. actually, she said they were talking about French AND spider monkeys, but me being me, I took out the "and" to make it funnier. she agreed, and suddenly the conversation turned to French Spider Monkeys. O.o

11) I forgot to add that it's bloody cold here and I almost froze while standing outside before class. and dammit, now it's 11 instead of 10. *doesn't care enough to change the subject* scratch that. sadly, I do care enough.
