Weirdest thing you've ever read? (fic, book, whatever)

oh man, I don't know about the weirdest, but there was a book I actually had to stop reading (and I don't STOP READING for content issues very often... like, ever) where this guy was kidnapped/held hostage and they tortured him by taking away his senses. so they burned his tongue so he couldn't taste, and I forget if they did something to his eyes by the time I stopped reading, but they were GOING to, and I just. couldn't read that. IDK. D: the book was called Senseless (idk the author) and I still have it, it sits on my bookshelf taunting me. maybe I'll finish it one day.
