silentdescant: (monaboyd love)
[personal profile] silentdescant
Phototropic – G for gen
Thigmotropic – R for... racy?
a/n: there is a third term, Gravitropic (responding to gravity), but I didn’t know how to use it in this story. inspired by, believe it or not, my biology book. >.<
wordcount: 100 words each, not counting the title words and definitions

Phototropic
responding to light

Billy always knew what to do when Dom felt melancholy. Sometimes he would give Dom a quick kiss on the forehead, pull him up off of whatever he was sitting on (most often the sofa or bed, but sometimes the floor), and propel him outside. Together they would walk through the neighborhood or down to the beach, letting the shallow waves lap at their bare feet. Eventually they would lie down on the sand or grass and revel in the sun beating down on their skin. Dom would feel the warmth of the sunlight, hear the surrounding nature, and smile.

Thigmotropic
responding to touch

Billy always knew what to do when Dom was bored. He would roll his eyes, ignore, and tease Dom, but eventually he would suggest something to do. More often than not, the activity involved a kiss, a touch, a moan, a gasp, and a bed. There would be sweat-slicked skin, fluttering eyelashes, greedy fingers, and wet mouths. Dom would kiss Billy hungrily and Billy would reply with his hands eagerly exploring Dom’s bare chest. Billy would pull Dom’s hair impatiently and Dom would laugh quietly in response. Tongues would meet, limbs would tangle, and Dom wouldn’t be bored any longer.

Gravitropic – G, but not gen
a/n: because I couldn’t leave it out. this has no relation to the previous two. also 100 words.

Gravitropic
responding to gravity

One day, Billy took Dom on a roller coaster. All day long, they had had fun eating sweets and playing at the game booths. Dom had never been on a roller coaster before, and Billy was happy to be there for the first time. They went up and up and up, finally cresting the steep hill, then they plummeted straight down with no warning. The weightless sensation Dom felt, the feeling of his heart caught in his throat, was somehow familiar. He looked over at Billy, who was grinning wildly at him. Dom smiled; it was like being in love.
