Where did I leave off? OH YES. PATRICK CAME OUT AND THE SHOW REALLY STARTED.

The band played Kriespiel, and then Patrick came out and they went right into EITHER Oblivion or The Messenger (I CAN'T REMEMBERRRR >.<). I didn't record either of these, and I only recorded snippets for several of the others, because I thought the audio capabilities on my little camera were way worse than they apparently are, and I thought the audio would blow out, so I only recorded quieter parts of the songs.

under here be 16 of my videos plus a few from someone else )

I don't know where these talky bits fit into the set, but he took up a fair amount of time talking, and I took a few notes on what he said.

some of his ramblings... )

None of my pictures are very good, so I'll just give you a link to the album. But I wanted to point out these two (as always, click for full-size):

That other youtuber seems to have also attended the Vancouver concert the next night. I haven't watched any of those videos yet, but there ya go. I'd be interested to know how much the setlist changes (if at all), especially since one of the things in that Nylon zine said that in order to keep shows fun for the bands, change up the setlist every night. I don't know if Patrick does that or not.

4. i twittered like, the entire time up to p.wolf. sorry, those of you who follow my rl twitter. :[ i think i got kind of annoying. lol
5. 2/3 other bands were okay. patrick wolf was way more than okay.
6. my feet hurt. my ears feel dead. my throat is dry. i got all sweaty. it's still awesome.
7. i took a few crappy pictures then remembered my camera could do VIDEO, so i pretty much switched to that. \o/ i also just created a youtube account. BUT, is youtube going to get all crazy and try to kill me over uploading concert footage?? should i find a different site? idk what to dooooo. :( :( :( help?
8. i also took notes so i wouldn't forget what he talked about and stuff. he was adorable. i also got autographs from one dude from the first band and three out of the four girls in the second band.

UNFORTUNATELY, my post-show report will have to wait until tomorrow night, probably. it's 2 in the morning right now, and i somehow got tapped to work as script supervisor on this film dazzle is in, so that'll be pretty much all day (and tomorrow, too.....). it should be fun, but ugh, early morning. and i don't have the energy to deal with stuff at the moment, so: tomorrow night. for the moment, make do with "IT WAS AMAZING", okay?

it really was amazing. oh godddd, it was. patrick woooooolf. he was so glittery. aaaaaahhhhhh.
