this is so cool. they've a map of the dark matter in our universe! and lol, the astronomers are in Seattle!

in other news, I feel about 80% better than I did a few days ago. maybe it was just a 24-hour type virus. but I also drank a TON of water and tried to sleep a lot, which I'm sure helped. of course, I stayed up 'till 4am last night reading all the textbooks that I was behind in for class today. the cinematography book is SO BORING, it's like reading a safety manual. the two scriptwriting ones are very cool, though.

must get ready for class!

Thank you so much for that spacey link! Very cool indeed. Does this mean you're one step closer to checking out Stargate Atlantis? Space, hot aliens, sarcastic scientists, thigh holsters, slouching hot fly-boys, upright marines, so much flirting, and did I mention the thigh holsters? And that's canon. The show is fantastic. Now, you're living in/from Seattle, aren't you? I think I'd picked up on that from some of your posts, but hadn't actually connected it all in my head. *blonde*!

Seattle is my second home, after Wellington. I've never lived there, but have visited many times over the years for various amounts of time.

It's where my Mum grew up, and lived, till she left for the South Pacific, and where all my American rellies are. Have an Aunt on Poulsbo, my Gran used to live on Vashon. And my brother and his wife are there (and I miss them all the time!). She runs a coffee shop (such a strange occupation in Seattle, I know!). Where are you? Would love to discuss Seattle!

Also, did you ever get that porny (name changey) file I sent you? Didn't get any response (which is fine!), but our internet was stuffing up so it may not have actually gone through. Let me know. Wouldn't want you to be porn-less!

Oh, if only I could watch it! I want to so much, especially since my Scriptwriting prof loves it and talks a bit about it in class, but I just have way too much going on to rationalize starting another show. >.<

LOL I don't post a lot about Seattle, but every now and then I mention something relevant. I live in Renton, but I frequently go down to Maple Valley and up to Bellevue and Redmond and downtown Seattle. It's fantastic to hear from someone who's at least been here. :D
