Eddie Izzard is so incredibly lovely. The show was amazing, hilarious, enlightening, etc. I took pics and videos of the Q&A thing afterward. He didn't call on me, but I was right there, so I was at least in a good spot for my camera.... until it ran out of batteries. But anyway; more info and the pics and videos and stuff will come soon, when I'm more mentally awake (which is not right now, obviously, 'cause I have a feeling at least one of these sentences doesn't make sense, but I'm assuming that's okay.) Also, I bought a Cake or Death shirt, which is awesome. And I chatted about pretty much everything I could remember with Raquel, so if I go to bed now, it won't all be gone from my memory (yay, chat transcripts! lol). Besides being lovely, he's also very sexy, isn't he? Anyway, yes, bedtime now.

Apr. 7th, 2008 01:03 pmYAY, Dazzle won that video contest! I dunno if any of you voted, but if you did, thank you!! My sister's making money left and right now. I'm a bit jealous, actually. She has marketable talents like photography and dog training and stuff like that, which is also good for these kinds of contests. Meanwhile, I.... go to school and write fanfic in my spare time. >.<
My other bit of news for the day is this: I think I'm going to go mostly friends-only. Gradually, though; I'm not just gonna suddenly disappear or anything. And fic and stuff will be left public, of course. I have a vague plan to switch journals as well, and use this one more for fan-ish stuff (which was my original intention with it anyway).
Also, Raquel and Megan and I watched Return of the King last night all together, which was so much fun to do. We should do that more often. And this is an general invite for anyone who wants to join us, if there's ever a movie on tv we all want to watch or something.
Also! My ipod won't turn off. >.< It's had this problem before, but this time, even the 'reset' isn't working. GAAH.

So I've realized why I haven't been posting anything lately. It's because as soon as whatever it is happens, I tell Raquel, and then I FORGET it. Seriously, I don't know if I can remember everything that I've wanted to say here in the past... what, week? Or so. Anyway, here's what I CAN remember of the big important things.
1) Piano recital. ( It went... okay. )
Oh, also, my teacher's having ANOTHER recital, for all the seniors she teaches, since we'll all be leaving next year. It's in June, I think, and I need a song for it. ANY IDEAS? I want something that's very me. Maybe something by John Williams, or another movie theme. Sadly, I've already played most of the Lord of the Rings music, and besides that, it's not quite hard enough. Hmmm.
2) FREAK WEATHER OMG.
- It is now spring, and it has been snowing practically every day since, I dunno, last week sometime.
- At this very moment, it's snowing and storming, sort of. Kind of like graupel, only... not? I don't know, it's weird.
- It now feels like Dazzle broke my kneecap with her skull as she was running away from the door in terror after hearing thunder. OWW.

4) My art project is coming along nicely. I have pictures that I haven't uploaded to my computer yet, and continuing the whole paper mache process is on my list of things to do whenever I find the time to get messy. As is uploading the photos. Not that that's messy, just that.. erm, nevermind.
