Since our fic won't be ready until tonight, Sarah and I decided it would be okay to post the mix a little early, as a kind of teaser for the fic. We had so much fun pulling these songs together, so I hope you enjoy the playlist. We picked out a line from each that particularly fits the characters and scenes, but it's not really a literal soundtrack. It does, however, follow the general story (vaguely), so this mix can give you a sense of the tone from beginning to end. We're so excited to post later. Enjoy this in the meantime!

This mix is great, thanks for putting it up. I'll be reading the fic later on, thanks for the hard work!

The songs are well chosen for the theme and they are recognizable without being the sort of thing seen all the time in this fandom. I also not-so-secretly like to see idol related songs snuck on to playlists, and the choices you guys picked are nice versions that manage to still contribute to a cohesive product alongside the likes of Depeche Mode and Marilyn Manson. Long story short, hngg.

Glad you enjoyed it!! We had SO MUCH FUN putting it together, trading music and talking about meanings and tone, and in the end it was surprisingly easy! I'd never made a mix before, and I kind of adore this one. It's a great blend of both of our music.

This is a really awesome fanmix and I love all the songs that you chose to go with this story! 'For You Only' by Trading Yesterday is a particular favorite of mine and I can't help but wonder if your decision to include that song was a result of seeing this music video that I made? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljzRpTz0Zzc) :) Because that would be totally awesome if my music video did inspire you in some small way. But even if it didn't and it is just a coincidence, it is still very cool to see that song included in your fanmix :D
