with words I thought I'd never speak

just wrote about three chapters of RunAway. the chapter today shall be called "The One Where Jen Learns How To Use Roman Numerals Correctly" *facepalm*

I can only assume that nobody else knows how to use those blasted numbers right either, because nobody said anything. LOL

in other news: OMG THE FLAG. I stayed up 'till 2 in the morning reading the end of The Archer and the beginning of The Flag, then I stopped and went to bed right before reading the most recent chapter. O.o at least I had something to look forward to this morning. :D

lotr lit wasn't bad, even though I'm still behind. I aced the vocab quiz.

biology was major suckage, and I know I missed some stuff on the test, but I think overall I did..... okay.  :-/

then I went out and slipped on some slushy ice and jammed my finger in the step. OW. it didn't really start hurting until I went into the bathroom to clean up, and then OW, FUCKING OW. so now I've got a scraped up knee, sore elbow, and my left index finger is all swollen up and freaky looking. really, compared to my other index finger, it's like, twice the size or something. I should get a pic of my hands or something, 'cause it looks really weird.

good thing piano was already over. and I didn't suck too badly on my scales! \o/ art was pretty good, and I finished up my painting first of all of the people in the class, and they're all like "how did you do that so fast? how did you get it to be that realistic?" umm... I painted it that way? >.< it's not finished yet; it's a multi-week painting, but I should get a pic of that too.

um, as for RunAway, I'm really sorry I didn't post or anything this week. I had kind of a bad week. Tuesday, I didn't have the chapter ready, and Thursday, I just plain old forgot. should be ready by Tuesday next week. :)

I think I'm officially sick now. I'm coughing and my nose is stuffy. *crawls into bed*

I got my letter from myself in the mail today. I wrote a letter in my HD class last quarter and adressed it to myself, then sealed up the envelope and gave it to the teacher. She sent it on Jan. 1st, I think, so now I have a letter from myself in the past. It was strange to read, but cool.

Another thing: I keep doing all these memes and then I don't post them. O.o I'll have to collect them and post them sometime.


I don't wanna go to class tomorrow.... *hides under blankets*

I had three people to buy gifts for, and I took care of two of them. And the last one I'm ordering online. I bought a sweater for my mom, and I was all prepared to spend the $40 it said on the tag, but the lady at the register was like "Oh this is half off, by the way!" YAYNESS.

Seattle roads all go one way IN THE WRONG DIRECTION. It's like a maze downtown. And whichever way you want to turn, the street's going the opposite. *grumbles* We drove around in circles for about fifteen minutes, I'm sure.

By the way, there's a new Beecake song on their myspace, so I recorded it. Not very good quality, but I'll post anyway.

Oh, and Raquel, I'm going to try to put your package in the mail before Christmas. I probably won't be able to accomplish that goal, but it's nice to have a goal, yes? Hopefully I'll get it to you before New Years. lol!

broke a glass the other day. felt like an idiot. also, i think a shard embedded itself in my finger. >.<

another thing, i was running down to the mailbox and i stepped wrong so my ankle hurts now. physically, i did not have a good day. *collapses onto bed*

yeah, i'm still alive. computer was offline for some business, and it took WAY longer than i expected. couldn't access my files, my internet, my email (for the most part...). i'm going through internet withdrawl. especially since it's gotta go back offline to finish up the job. *grumbles* luckily, the people paying me are super-excited about ANYTHING that i do, so i basically just threw this together at the last minute. they'll love it anyway. doesn't meet my standards at all though.

in school-related news: my unoffial college transcript is as follows...

media = probably between a B+ (unlikely) and an A; he hasn't posted the grades yet.
study skills (omg so easy) = A
astronomy = A- (yayness)
english = B+

i'm pretty satisfied with that. at this point, i really don't give a rat's arse about english, but a B+ is good enough.

in co-op-related news: biology sucks, but since when is that new? i'll probably rant about that later. >.< but lotr is awesome. i'm reading the chapters now where Merry and Pippin are with the orcs and Treebeard, so yay. and i managed a 99 on last week's test, but only because i did some of the bonus questions. otherwise, i would've sucked. >.<

lego state competition on sat, set-up tomorrow. the dude's letting me use is gazillion-dollar camera!!!! but i have to think up interview questions.... bloody hell, the last time i did an interview, i said "so... anything else?" *facepalm*

RunAway - i'm really sorry about that, but as i said, computer was offline, and i couldn't get to my files. and since i'm gonna be really busy this weekend, i guess i'll just update next week. monday, maybe, to make up for it? *hides* really sorry. :(

also, there were a few articles i wanted to link to, but i don't have time to find them right now. will do that later also.

and finally, i became obsessed with the Dom/Marton storyline in lotr_dungeon and read the entire thing in like, three days. heavy with the kink, but verrry hot. *drools* and there's ANGST. didn't read much of the other pairings though, but i'm gonna go back and do that when i have time. (which translates to never, probably.) uummm, besides that... not much else goin' on here.

still snowing. a bit. slowed down though. King5 news showed video of downtown Seattle and Queen Anne side by side. In Seattle, there's rain. In Queen Anne, there's snow. O.O not a whole lot of elevation difference there. And if you don't live here/know Seattle, you won't have a clue as to what I'm talking about. lol

tomorrow: room's a mess, must clean. desk's a mess, must clean also. and get rid of all evidence of English class. *evil grin* I'm hoping BCC will be closed for snow, but so far, no luck. so then, astronomy tomorrow night. aaaaaand, a ton of writing, because RunAway still isn't ready to post. >.< *sheepish* I'm busy? finals week? um... I suddenly found I had a life? actually, no, that's not true. I'm still woefully lifeless. well, at least socially. physically, I am alive. fuck, this is getting weirder by the minute. oh wait, except for one last thing. I watched Titanic tonight. the darn movie makes me tear up EVERY TIME. and Leonardo DiCaprio is really fucking hot. except when he's deathly cold. *totally lame joke* and I suddenly have the urge to write Titanic!Monaboyd. >.< I wonder if anyone's written that before. probably so.
