watched Shooting Livien. Taylor, you were right, I loved it.

I also watched Fun With Dick and Jane (the new version).
spoilers )

I sucked on my AP practice test on Wed. like, REALLY sucked. hopefully that'll change soon though, and I didn't do completely horrible; I did get some stuff right. >.< and the practice stuff we did today went... alright. >.<

art news: I realllllly don't like doing pointilism. like, really. but my fish turned out cool, even though when I painted it the colors didn't work how I wanted them to. but then, that's watercolor for ya. haven't finished Boromir or Rodrigo Santoro paintings yet. >.<

health news: my ear cleared up nearly all day today, but now it's all congested again. I am very mad at my ear right now. >.< the ear drops worked a bit, but not completely, and ever since then I've felt partially deaf in my right ear. >.<

also, YAY for the postal service!!!!!! <3333 brainspouse. annnnd, [profile] babybrothalova, I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you yet! I'll email you shortly. :)

also also, tomorrow I'm gonna try to write a LOT of RunAway so when I start posting again, there won't be any more delays. :D

WOOOO!!! Tony fucking WON the FIRST regional competition in GA!!! His team's going to nationals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm now debating whether or not I should fly down there to cheer/see him. I'd totally do it, except for the fact that I haven't been involved in robotics at all this year, and I don't even know the challenge. Plus, would that be awkward, if it's just me?

In other news, my last final is on Monday (tomorrow), and then I'll be free from this quarter!!! Unfortunately, biology won't stop. >.< And I still have to make DVD covers for 10 Odd Couple DVDs and 4 Grace & Glorie DVDs. And then send them. And I've already been paid for the 4. *hides*

In movie news, I watched like, 200 movies in these past couple of days. Spoilers beneath the cuts. Nothing major, though.

Movies that I have from Blockbuster, just haven't watched yet: Shooting Livien (OMG, I CAN'T WAIT, even though it'll probably be a crap film.), Man of the Year (meh. not my choice from the video store, but whatever.) and I think The Purifiers is on it's way. \o/ Plus, I'm DVR-ing Wimbledon and Day After Tomorrow, both of which I've seen before.

silentdescant: (thinking)
So then, after the Producers disaster, I started Emma.

spoilers for this, because I actually finished watching it )
silentdescant: (omgwtf)
First tonight, I watched The Producers.

contains no spoilers except for how horrible it was, because I couldn't even manage to get through it )

Also, I own Nacho Libre, but have only watched a small part of it.

another horrid movie that I couldn't stomach )

I shudder to think what Napoleon Dynamite is like. I have no desire to see it other than to mock it and my friends mercilessly.
silentdescant: (thinking)
omg, I actually wrote a review! I can't believe I haven't in so long. Hopefully now I'm back in the swing of things, I'll write them more as I see the movies instead of waaaay later. I think I'm just going to give up on recalling the details of Casino Royale and Pursuit of Happyness.

So anyway, I just watched The Butterfly Effect.

spoilers beyond )

ps: I've updated my Movie Review list with other movies I've watched but that I'm not going to write reviews for. All the 'Coming Soon's are gone now. I've just given up. Fresh start. :D
silentdescant: (dance)
OMG *dies*

Um, Dom narrates the whole thing, need I say more?

I'll say more later, when I'm actually coherent.
silentdescant: (through a lens...)
A note beforehand: my mom pointed out Elijah Wood and said "Oh, that's the one you have a crush on!" Uh, no. But at least she picked a hobbit this time. Then, during the movie, I thought "He is pretty cute. I could like him. But I don't."

Anyway, on with the first review in soooo long, Sin City.

PS: I know I misspelled spoilers, shut up. I don't care enough to fix it.
silentdescant: (fragmented dreams)
I'm going to keep this one short.

Starring Charlize Theron and Sean Bean!

silentdescant: (through a lens...)
Can you believe it? THREE!! And, I'm set to see two more movies before the end. Yay. I love movies.

Okay, first, my previously lost report about I Am. Much edited, anyway. Need I warn you about spoilers?

I Am )

Oh, so as I mentioned behind one of those cuts, I have a brand spanking new Plot Twister long sleeved t-shirt, which is slightly too big, but that's okay by me. It has on it:

a gravestone with the word Hero on it,
a baby with an alien head,
a lady with a mustache,
a fork spearing an eyeball,
a wineglass with some kind of pills in the bottom,
a gun with water dripping out (love that one!)
a meteor (or comet),
a flower vase with a microphone amongst the flowers,
a paper bag full of money,
sorry, I have no clue what this one's a picture of...
the back of someone's head with an outlet at the nape of their neck (love this one as well!),
and the front of a bank that's just a set.

I should  write a fic involving every single one of these. Except the one I can't understand, of course. It would be hilarious. (I was thinking of getting the Black Comedy t-shirt, but this one suits me better. I'm a plot twister at heart.)

ta-ta for now.

Yay, another review. Another Seattle International Film Festival movie. Out of the (3) SIFF movies I've seen, this one is the best. I highly recommend it to anyone, as long as the idea of suicide doesn't majorly freak you out.

silentdescant: (through a lens...)
I'm on a roll with these EXTREMELY late reviews!

X-Men III, starring a whole lot of people. Let's get on with it, shall we?

silentdescant: (through a lens...)
About fucking time I wrote this.

The DaVinci Code, I'm sure you've heard of it. It stars Tom Hanks, Ian McKellan, and Paul Bettany, and is directed by Ron Howard, based on the (in my opinion) great book by Dan Brown.

silentdescant: (through a lens...)
Okay, I seriously have to get some shit done. I'm totally procrastinating on EVERYTHING in my life.

Anyway, I saw two movies at the Seattle International Film Festival. The first, a family movie, is called "Greyfriars Bobby", and is set in Scotland. The second is called "The Proposition", is set in Australia, and also stars David Wenham.

As always, spoilers follow.

silentdescant: (hallelujah)
